The article was insightful even though the title is misleading. Thank you!
However, I disagree with some of your points especially the meat intake and lifespan aspects. Here is what the Bible says about them:
- Lifespan: In Genesis 6:1–8 Due to the wickedness in the world, God decided to shorten the days of man.
Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal ; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”
This was pronounced just before the great flood.
2. Meat intake: Acts 10:9-15 Remember when Peter had a trance when he was hungry and waiting for his meal. He saw four-footed animals, reptiles and birds.
Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”
In addition, I want you to know that we are not under the old testament law but of grace brought by Jesus Christ in the new testament. Being a vegetarian and adhering to healthy living doesn’t guarantee a long life. In fact, according to research, there’s a little evidence to that.
